Adjara Tourism Association (ATA) is an organization of private tourism companies in Adjara/Georgia
The main goals of ATA will be:
- developing of cooperation and networking among tourism industry stakeholders,
especially in the Adjara region
- networking and cooperation with national and international organizations
- capacity building and quality management for the tourism services
- accessibility of tourism information and advertisement and promotion of the
region Adjara
- support their members with all providing services
- consulting service for members
ATA will play a coordinating role between private, public and international organizations and supporters, and contribute the promotion of Adjara as a tourism destination. ATA will represent the interest of tourism sector and can push some necessary changes together with GTA (Georgian Tourism Association) in legislation and policy level in order to facilitate the industry development.
ATA, under partnership agreement / memorandum, will have a strong link to GTZ supported by the TCC Tourism Competence Centre, Batumi, in organizational and capacity development, expertise support, education support via customized trainings etc.
Every tourism company with legal business practices is invited become a member.
